Dr. John Shamoun attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He completed General Surgery at the University of Alabama and a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Shamoun then completed several post-graduate Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowships: a subspecialty Fellowship in Aesthetic and Restorative Breast Surgery and subspecialty Fellowships in Aesthetic Surgery of the Face, Eyes, Nose, and Body.

Dr. Shamoun opened up a private practice in Newport Beach, California. He is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advances in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He combines artistic skill, surgical exeperience with extensive training from the world's top plastic surgeons to create beautiful, natural results.

Dr. Shamoun is a member of many exclusive plastic surgery societies, which award excellence in cosmetic plastic surgery.
