Dr. Marissa Tenenbaum, a board-certified plastic surgeon at West County Plastic Surgeons of Washington University in St. Louis, practices cosmetic surgery in order to help people look and feel great. A practicing surgeon and assistant professor of surgery, Dr. Tenenbaum not only provides care for her own plastic surgery patients around St. Louis, but she also ensures quality care for future patients across the nation by educating the next generation of plastic surgeons.
Dr. Tenenbaum is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is the associate program director for the Plastic Surgery Residency Program and an assistant professor of surgery for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Tenenbaum is on the emerging trends and patient safety committees for ASAPS and the clinical trials network for ASPS. She earned a Bachelor of Science in natural science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by a Doctor of Medicine from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She then completed more than 6 years of medical training. During her education and training, Dr. Tenenbaum received a number of esteemed honors. She was voted one of the "Best Plastic Surgeons" and "Best Doctors in America" in St. Louis Magazine.
