Ontario plastic surgeon Dr. Troy J. Andreasen has been in private practice since 2001. Thereafter, his Inland Empire plastic surgery practice developed into one of the leading plastic surgery practices in Southern California. Dr. Andreasen and his staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality of service, personalized care and attention, and knowledgeable plastic surgery information. Dr. Andreasen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and grew up with an interest in plastic surgery. During his experience as a successful Golden Glove boxer, he became acquainted with a plastic surgeon who was also involved with that sport. Dr. Andreasen’s interest in the broad field blossomed, which developed through his association with the plastic surgeon. For the next several years, Dr. Andreasen immersed himself in the study of plastic surgery. After he finished two years of religious missionary service, Dr. Andreasen completed medical school at the University of Utah. While there, he worked under the renowned hand surgeon, Graham Lister, and developed advanced microsurgical skills. As a result of his efforts in microsurgical research, Dr. Andreasen helped to define the effects of trauma on microcirculation. Inland Empire plastic surgeon Dr. Andreasen was then awarded the highest achievement award from his alma mater, graduating at the top of his medical school class. He was then selected as one of the first U.S. medical school graduates to train in an integrated General Surgery/Plastic Surgery program that held a focus in cosmetic surgery. Dr. Andreasen excelled in all aspects of training at Loma Linda University, establishing himself as one of their premier plastic surgical trainees. His particular interests included cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, in addition to reconstructive surgery of the breast. Dr. Andreasen, who currently serves the surrounding areas of the Inland Empire, has been actively involved in missionary service since he was 19 years old. He captained the Loma Linda Good Samaritan Plastic Surgery efforts in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico while at Loma Linda. He and his team, twice a year, provided reconstructive surgery services to impoverished children who otherwise had no access to such procedures. Dr. Andreasen is highly trained in cleft lip and palate repair as well as burn surgery; these are regarded as valuable components of the missionary endeavor. Dr. Andreasen's pursuit of excellence in the field of plastic surgery has carried into his private practice. During consultation with prospective Inland Empire patients, he provides important plastic surgery information. Dr. Andreasen treats every patient individually, offering personalized service and complete surgical care, from the initial consultation to recovery. Dr. Andreasen emphasizes safety and performs his cosmetic and reconstructive procedures at several hospitals and surgery centers in Riverside, and throughout the Inland Empire ("IE"). Treating patients from such cities as Riverside, Redlands, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, and Corona, Ontario plastic surgeon Dr. Andreasen specializes in cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, and face. Every year, he performs hundreds of corrective breast procedures, as well as breast lift and breast augmentation surgeries. Dr. Andreasen is fully trained in the use of all available saline and silicone gel-filled implants, giving patients the freedom to choose their desired implant and surgical technique. Dr. Andreasen also performs several other procedures, including tummy tuck surgery, liposuction, facelift surgery, and the full spectrum of facial rejuvenation procedures. He and his staff also offer non-surgical facial rejuvenation services, which includes microdermabrasion, laser-based therapies, and chemical peels, and Botox® Cosmetic for the treatment of facial wrinkles. Due to the increasing numbers of obese patients who are surgically treated, Dr. Andreasen offers the option of reconstructive surgery at his practice. For cosmetic purposes, he can also remove redundant skin caused by significant weight loss.
