Dr. Steve S. Kim is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is one of the few plastic surgeons in the country who concurrently hold both an MD and PhD degrees.

Dr. Kim graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California at Berkeley majoring in Molecular Cell Biology and Biochemistry where he was a National Merit Scholar and was awarded Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended medical school at the University of California at Irvine and was selected for the nationally prestigious Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) where he earned his MD and PhD degrees.

Dr. Kim specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and body and is trained in the latest minimal scar techniques to produce beautiful, natural looking results.

Dr. Kim is one of few plastic surgeons trained in the trans-umbilical breast augmentation (TUBA) procedure and is furthermore well versed in the technical nuances of facelifts, blepharoplasties, rhinoplasties, breast augmentations, breast lifts, abdominoplasties (tummy tuck), liposuctions, post bariatric procedures and Asian plastic surgery.

We offer a complete range of services including both surgical and nonsurgical procedures to enhance and rejuvenate you. We utilize the latest in laser and light based technology such as Titan, Pearl, and IPL for nonsurgical tightening, resurfacing, and hair removal. In addition, we offer dermal injections such as Restylane, Juvederm, BOTOX® and chemical peels.

We make patient satisfaction and safety our highest priorities. All general anesthesia procedures are performed in state of the art facilities with board certified anesthesiologists.

At UCLA, Dr. Kim spent six years honing his surgical skills along-side some of the top plastic surgeons in the country.
