He graduated from medical in the top 10% of his class at Wright State University Booneshoft School of Medicine. At the University of Texas in Houston, Dr. Hess completed his general surgery training. He studied hand and microsurgery at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. He completed his plastic surgery training at Wayne State University.

Dr. Hess' surgical career as a plastic surgeon began in a group practice in Beverly Hills. He is privileged to continue his plastic surgery career in San Diego. Dr. Hess is dedicated to providing uncompromising care to his patients.
