In the last 14 years, Fox Valley Plastic Surgery has taken care of more than 25,000 patients. Some of the patients have been through a major change in their life, whether it is from a significant injury, or a decision to change their sense of self-confidence by going through a personal Renaissance. The patients consider the cosmetic surgery experience as a new beginning, and Fox Valley Plastic surgery has a team of people who help improve our patients' self esteem as well as help them define honest expectations for results.

The doctors of Fox Valley Plastic Surgery, Drs. David Janssen and William Doubek, are not only highly experienced, board-certified plastic surgeons, they have the utmost concern and show genuine courtesy for their patients. Both Drs. Janssen and Doubek perform their surgeries at the Renaissance Surgery Center, their own surgery center, undergoing accreditation by by the Association for Ambulatory Health Care (www.aaahc.org). They created the Center in August 2007 to provide the highest levels of patient privacy and comfort. The doctors' honest, caring, and realistic approach to patient care and their attention to detail results in cosmetic enhancements that consistently exceed patients' expectations.

The Center features a medical day spa, a private patient garage and three surgery rooms equipped with laser technology and anesthesia monitoring equipment.

Both doctors have been featured performing surgeries on nationally televised programs, including "A Personal Story" on The Learning Channel.

Fox Valley Plastic surgery employs the best in the industry, including northeast Wisconsin's only Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse (CPSN), Kristin Shefchik. She has intensive training in laser aesthetics and injectables.

Renaissance Medispa is a medical day spa and laser center owned and operated by Fox Valley Plastic Surgery. It is the only medispa in Northeast Wisconsin with membership in the Society of Plastic Surgery Skin Care Specialists.

David Janssen, MD, FACS, has excelled both professionally and academically throughout his career. A graduate of Ripon College and the University of Wisconsin Medical School, Dr. Janssen trained at Saginaw Cooperative Hospital for General Surgery and The George Washington University School of Medicine for Plastic Surgery. He completed his residency in Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Children's Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Janssen is an active member of several professional medical associations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is also distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Janssen has also researched and published pioneering work on the subjects of general and plastic surgery. His chapter on the development and structure of the abdomen and breast is part of a core curriculum textbook in plastic surgery (C.V. Mosby, 1994).

William Doubek, MD, FACS, specializes in performing life-improving cosmetic and reconstructive procedures with the goal of helping patients attain a higher quality of life. He believes in taking an honest, caring approach towards each patient's unique needs, focusing on educating patients and their families on the potential risks and benefits of all types of surgery. Dr. Doubek earned his medical degree from the St. Louis University School Medicine and completed his general and plastic surgery residencies at the prestigious Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. He served as the Chief of Surgery for Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh from 2002-2004. Dr. William Doubek maintains active membership in a number of respected medical associations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Priestly Society. In addition, Dr. Doubek is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
