Dr. Josh Korman is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been a member of the clinical faculty of Stanford University for 15 years. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the California Society of Plastic Surgery. He has received national attention for his use of lasers in plastic surgery and for body lift surgery.
He has been featured on 20/20, CNN, The New York Times, The San Jose Mercury News, Gentry Magazine, and The Metro. Dr. Korman works as a volunteer physician in developing countries with Interplast and served on its Board of Directors. Locally, he donates his time to the Community Breast Health Project in Palo Alto.
He is an accomplished musician and playwright. Dr. Korman has been named one of San Jose Magazine's "Top Docs" every year since 2000.
Giving Back
For over 20 years, Dr. Korman has helped needy children, teens, and adults locally and around the world. Dr. Korman has volunteered with medical teams all over the world to repair cleft lips and palates to children born with these deformities. He has also operated on many needy children in poor countries who suffer from disfiguring burns. Inadequate and dangerous home heating in many developing countries has resulted in horrific and tragic burn contractures.
Dr. Korman also started the Clean Slate Program in San Jose, California.The program in which physicians remove tattoos from former gang members is now in its 13th year. For his work helping so many young people turn their lives around, Dr. Korman received special commendations from San Jose Mayor Susan Hammer, and President Bill Clinton.
Dr. Korman also volunteers at the Community Breast Health Project in Palo Alto, educating women with breast cancer about their options for breast reconstruction.

Thanks so much for the body lift procedure which you performed on me on January 14, 1999. It goes without saying that I am absolutely ecstatic with the result. It has exceeded my expectation, both interms of the physical as well as the mental aspects of the outcome. My skin is tighter than it has been in over twenty years. I am now seven weeks out from the operation at this point, and am already back to my vigorous workout schedule! Both friends and family are also amazed at my new contour!
