Dr. John Noonan is a board certified plastic surgeon with more than 25 years of experience. Dr. Noonan has served as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Peter's Hospital for overeight years. Dr. Noonan is the managing partner of The Plastic Surgery Group.

Dr. Noonan completed his medical degree at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and then trained in general surgery at Albany Medical College with an emphasis on major trauma. He then went on to pursue a residency in plastic surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Dr. Noonan continued his training by completing a plastic surgery fellowship at Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland.

Following his fellowship, Dr. Noonan returned to Albany as an assistant professor of plastic surgery at Albany Medical Center and served as plastic surgery residency program director. Eventually, he established a private practice with The Plastic Surgery Group, specializing in cosmetic plastic surgery while continuing to maintain his clinical associate professor status at Albany Medical Center.
