He received his M.D. from the University of Washington Medical School, followed by the completion of his General Surgery Internship at Maricopa County Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He performed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Arizona, and his Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester.
