| About Dr. Glasberg |
| Dr. Scot Bradley Glasberg is a Board Certified Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon. He continually presents and lectures at many national, regional and local societies. Dr. Glasberg has published numerous articles on various aspects of plastic surgery. Dr. Glasberg is listed in the most current editions of Marquis' Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World as well as the latest edition of Outstanding Young Americans. He is on the attending staff of the prestigious Lenox Hill and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospitals as well as several other area hospitals. |  |
Dr. Glasberg holds numerous positions within national, regional and local medical and specialty societies. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and as Chair of its Government Affairs Council. He also represents the American Medical Association in official capacities. Dr. Glasberg travels to Washington, D.C. and Albany several times each year to speak about many healthcare and medicolegal issues. He has testified before Congressional committees and before panels of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Dr. Glasberg has appeared numerous times in the news and media. He has been featured on shows such as the Today show (NBC), Good Morning America (ABC), the Paula Zahn show (CNN) and the Morning show (WB). He has also appeared on the national and local newscasts of NBC, CBS, ABC, WB and CNN.
Dr. Glasberg continually involves himself in research activities and has won multiple awards. In 1998, he was the winner of the first prize for his presentation at the annual meeting of the Society of Former Residents and Associates of Plastic Surgery. In 1997, he was the recipient of the Resident and Fellows Award of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and won a clinical prize for his work presented at the New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Earlier in his training, he won an award for the best presentation at the annual meeting of the New York Society of Cleft Palate / Craniofacial Centers as well as a prize for best paper at the annual meeting of the Connecticut Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. His research has been published in numerous peer review journals and has included new techniques in Breast Surgery, new methods to treat and prevent keloid and hypertrophic wound healing and the assessment of pediatric craniofacial deformities.
